Monday, March 7th,2016 At 9:00pm, the Queens Stack held its first ever event. Led by Marc Whinston, we met up at the GameStop on Central Park Avenue in Yonkers for The Division game release party.
Those who joined us had fun talking with people and spreading the word about who Stack-Up is. Members of the Stack played water pong with the GameStop staff and other customers. The prize were entries in a raffle for a GameStop gift card! Asher Whinston handed out many fliers giving information on Stack-Up and what we do. We enjoyed mingling with the staff and getting to know them which turned into laying the ground work for future events.
We ended the night by leaving fliers by the cash register so that other customers may learn about Stack-Up and possibly get involved with our local Stack. All in all, it was a fantastic night, and we look forward to our next event. More information may be found on our Queens Stack, finding one in your area, or starting one up yourself.
