This Supply Crate request is a bit different from our normal asks. It comes to us from a military spouse and the wife of an Army Soldier. Read on to check out the full request:
My name is Krystal and I am the spouse of Army Soldier Anthony. I am completing this for him as a surprise for him and his fellow soldiers. My husband is deploying for the 4th time but for many of the soldiers in his unit, this is their 1st deployment. Their first time away from spouses, kids, and loved ones.
I would like to make this deployment as easy and stress-free as possible for them by providing them all with some video games to pass the time.
I hope my application can still be considered even though I am not the soldier. I first heard about your organization at the Christmas party hosted by Heroes Support Network in 2015. Thanks so much for your consideration and all you do!

We of course, gleefully went to work fulfilling this request and sent a Supply Crate full of gaming goodness down range to Anthony. When he received it, he wrote us back and included some amazing pictures!
Thank you so much for the gaming system and accessories! Not having access to a gaming system has been rough since I arrived overseas last year (as I am quite the gamer when I’m back home). When my wife said she applied for a crate for myself and my soldiers I was really hoping to get the OK and that one would be on the way shortly.
Sure enough, we received our crate last week and couldn’t be more excited! I currently work in the mortuary affairs office so having this gaming system to relieve some stress is a blessing, for not only myself but my fellow soldiers as well! The long hours, days, nights, and months we all put in will surely seem easier now!
We can’t thank you enough for the support you provided to not only us but to all military personnel, and their families!! We will be sure to put everything to use during the rest of our time here!
