Supply Crate – Brandon

Air Force Veteran Brandon reached out to Stack Up about getting a new console so he could have something to do during those "hurry up and wait" moments of his life.

Hello Stack Up! A portable gaming console would be fantastic. I really don’t use social media much any longer so I find myself with extra time. Both my (USAF, TSgt (RET)) wife and I support various veterans organizations such as the VFW, DAV and American Legion. I also attend, and hope to mentor, support retreats and creative endeavors to aid combat vets with PTSD, depression, anxiety and the like. I’m also a board of directors member for our daughter’s junior roller derby team that travels extensively. Of course we attend to support her passion for skating; and hitting people LOL! My wife fosters potential service dogs for veterans, first responders and exceptional children. It seems like it’s 100 mph or 0. Having portable gaming devices would help to fill the void of travel, waits at our VA appointments or just a nice opportunity to link up with the kids and play one on one.---Any help that you could provide would be much appreciated.

If there's one things Military members, former and current, are familiar with, it's those waiting moments between activities. Those moments can feel like forever especially with nothing to occupy you. It sounds like Brandon has also decided not to spend those moments scrolling, which we commend. Hopefully with a new Nintendo Switch he can have some fun in those waiting moments.
