Army combat Veteran Tyron requested a Supply Crate after learning about Stack Up from a fellow Veteran who is familiar with Stack Up.

My name is Tyron and I am an Army combat veteran of Iraq 2004. I am service connected for PTSD. A fellow veteran in Stack Up told me about you guys. He knew that I used to like to play games and haven't for a long time. I feel that by playing again, I will have another form of therapy, a release. It will also help me to re-engage with physically distant friends that game and re-kindle that bond and line of communication. Make new friends and support system of friends I can and would be more willing to reach out when Im in need or when and if I am need. Playing games is something I can do with my kids as well. Something we can do together to build and strengthen our relationships. A common interest. Thank you for considering my request. Thank you for the work you do for us.

We've been seeing a lot of requests from people who heard about us through other Veterans and that feels pretty great. We've helped a lot of Veterans over our decade in operation and reading requests like Tyron's means we are reaching the people who could really use our support. Every reason Tyron listed, from re-engaging with friends, bonding with his children, and coping with his mental health are why we do this.

Thank you for the supply crate. This is going to be a great resource. Im looking forward to playing with my battle buddies. My children and my wife will play as well so I will get to play with them and that is awesome. This gaming system and the games will be an outlet for me. It will be a therapeutic respite momentarily while I have a little bit of "me time" doing something I enjoy but in moderation and within reason, lol. Thank you to Stack Up and all the donors that made it happen!
