Today's Supply Crate update came from recipient Nathan. Nathan was medically retired from the Army and has had some circumstances happen that have made it difficult for him to have a chance to game, as he told us in the following request:
I'm a disabled combat veteran, I was wounded by a mortar in Bagdad, Iraq back in dec 2006, shrapnel severed a nerve and paralyzed my left foot giving me a permanent foot drop. I was then medically retired from the Army back in mar 2008. Everyday is a struggle, some days better than others, but at the end of the day I like to unwind playing a game or two until I go to bed. I had bought the brand new Xbox One but was in between living places and it was stolen out of my truck. There goes my stimulus, Now Im finally in a stable one bedroom apartment/pool house and all money has been going to bills. Anything would be appreciated, and make life a little that much easier.
Having a game console stolen, frankly, sucks. Of course, we had to make sure Nathan received a Supply Crate so that he could have a console and games to unwind with.
First I would like to apologize for the late reply, been super busy and second would like to thank you for the crate, its perfect it got me back to gaming in no time , I am very grateful and appreciate what you do for veterans.
