Supply Crate – Guard Pass 4

We have another awesome Supply Crate shipment to share with you! This one comes to us from Juan, who is a Marine stationed in Japan. Read on below to take a look at Juan’s full request.

First of all, Thank you for your support. Currently, we are deployed to Futenma Japan out of Camp Pendleton CA. My unit is assigned to provide humanitarian assistance at a moments notice in case of a catastrophic event in our area of operation. The Marines of the unit are some of the most hardworking individuals I have ever had the pleasure of leading and working with.

My Marines work in the Avionics shop of the unit. The Marines work an average of 12 hour days, 6 days a week with Sunday being their only day off. They basically work, eat, and sleep with no time for themselves after work. During that 12 hour shift the Marines have little to no breaks and minimal chow time, they eat and get back to work. The helicopters we work on are old and always break. Working in 90-degree heat with 90% humidity does not make for a good working environment.

One of the things I have noticed is that the Marines understand our mission here and complain very little. These guys make it happen day in and day out. Recently we had a flood come through our building and the Marines jumped into action and made sure our birds and equipment were safe. Being in Japan is stressful for these young guys because of the restrictions that are imposed on them.

There is a place on base that has computers and gaming systems for them to use but is usually packed since my Marines get off of work late. I would just like to show that their hard work is appreciated. Y’all are awesome and deserve so much for everything that you do for the military.

Thank you, Juan, for sending in this amazing Supply Request. It is clear that you certainly care for the Marines in your unit. We were only too happy to help Juan in his quest to make things just a bit better for his fellow Devil Dogs.

Thanks to amazing Call To Arms streamers like DraconisRed we were able to put together a fantastic crate of gaming goodies for Juan and his fellow Marines. After the Supply Crate completed its journey and arrived in Japan, Juan took some time to write back a few words of thanks and also included some cool pictures!

First of all, let me start off by saying THANK YOU! For everything that you all do for us service members.

Please give DraconisRed special thanks from us. The Marines enjoyed the shirts and gaming system that you all sent. One of my jobs is to keep the Marines morale high and you all have made my job that much easier.

I wish I would have recorded the Marine opening the package, it was like Christmas morning. Once again from the bottom of our hearts thank you.

Thank you again, Juan, for your service and your devotion to your fellow service members. We hope the Supply Crate aids you in your mission to improve morale. You and your fellow Marines have our eternal gratitude!

If you’d like to make a donation that gets sent over to our troops as a Supply Crate, Stack-Up takes lightly used PS4, and Xbox One games and gear as well as cash donations. Please help us help these vets out here:
