Supply Crate – Chris

Chris was serving in the Army and requested a Supply Crate because he was on his 4th deployment and wanted a console to game with.

My name is Chris, but when I’m gaming everyone just calls me Mando. I’m currently Active Army, been in for just over 20 years and looking forward to retirement (hopefully in the next 2ish years!). Currently stationed at the black hole that is Fort Liberty (it’s still Ft. Bragg in my heart). I’ve been happily married for 19 years and have 3 boys ages 13, 8, and 6. I’ve been an avid gamer since I’ve been old enough to hold a controller. I play mostly RPG’s, MMO’s, and Rocket League. Currently enjoying my 4th deployment and definitely can’t wait to get back home. I’m happy to be here and glad a friend of mine sent me the invite link to y’all’s discord. I love that y’all are helping my brothers and sisters as well as vets.

Being close to retirement is pretty great! In Chris' case, he retired before we could get him a Supply Crate but once he got it post-service he was pretty excited because now that he's home and able to spend more time with his children, they'll be able to game as a family.

Thank you all so much for the supply crate. My boys were so excited when I retired and all of them said “We’re so glad you’re going to be home more.”

Then we opened the supply crate and they all said “Holy Cow! Dad, now we can all play games together!”

My family is so grateful and honored to have been selected to receive a supply crate. Thank you again for selecting my family and for everything your organization does for veterans!
