Bryan served in both the Army and the Navy and requested a Supply Crate because he has a host of physical and mental health struggles and his PC is getting old. He hoped with a console, he can continue gaming.
I served a total of 24 years in 2 branches of the Military (Navy & Army) and 5 years as a NYPD cop. I retired from the Army in 2019 and suffer many physical and psychological wounds from my combat and non-combat service. Every day, I suffer intense pain from various injuries, including my spine, compression fractures, dislocated and subloxed joints and knee derangements. I suffer the effects of multiple Traumatic Brain Injuries, combat PTSD, major depression, multiple anxiety and many other psychological injuries. I often play games with my children in order to distract from my distress. We are a low income (actually 0 income) family and my PC is overb10 years old on it's last leg. I do not have any consoles currently. If you are able to help, I would be grateful. If not, I still would be grateful for what you have done for others. Thank you.

Definitely sounds like a Bryan needs a new console to help keep him occupied when his health makes it difficult to get out and about. We sent him a new PS5 and he sent us a very grateful reply!
Hi Skatch and the Entire Stack Up Team,
I am writing to express my immense and sincere gratitude for the incredible Supply Crate I recently received. The PlayStation 5, the two headsets, the gift certificate, and the generous assortment of games are all a level of support and generosity I never expected. My family and I are deeply touched by this gesture, and it has already had a profound impact on our lives. Please thank the wonderful family and everyone else involved for their help and donations. I am grateful for them!
As a wounded veteran, I have found a unique and powerful level of therapy in gaming for my physical and psychological injuries. On the challenging days when my anxiety, depression, or PTS symptoms are hitting me hard, I am able to immerse myself in a game and truly forget that I was even having an issue. It provides an escape and a way to reset that is incredibly valuable to my recovery and well-being.
Even better, it has given me a new way to bond with my kids. We’ve been playing together frequently, and seeing their excitement has been a gift in itself. I also let each one of my four kids play for a few hours at night every 4th night. My kids are also having a blast and frequently play Roblox together! It is truly amazing how much positive therapy and family connection can come from a stack of games and a console. In fact, over the past two weeks, I have been using the console to play through: Sniper Elite 4, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, Days Gone, Planet Zoo and Death Standing. My kids love playing Roblox, Jumanji, Battlegrounds and football.
I have attached a few photos of me with the gear as you requested. I can and will get you more photos if requested. Please feel free to share these with your donors and fundraisers so they can see exactly how much of a difference their generosity makes.
Thank you for remembering me and for the work you do. This has truly changed the atmosphere in our home for the better.
PS. I noticed it said Combined Federal Campaign under your signature. Earlier in my career, for the first 6 years, I donated to the CFC. The irony of it... Love you all! If you need more photos, I can get them.
Very respectfully,
SFC Bryan, US Army, ret.
You are so very welcome, Bryan, we hope you make many great memories with the console!
