The Stacks have been busy this Summer! We've added several new Stacks to our roster, including a few in Canada. Exciting stuff. We're glad more people are learning about this program and volunteering to host local gaming events and represent Stack Up to their communities.

Dayton Stack - Dragon's Guildhall | May 31, 2026

The Dayton, Ohio Stack has been making a return with some locally held monthly game nights.

Monthly D&D event. This month it was the end of the school year. Even though we plan these events several weeks ahead of time, schedules still get messy. The intent was to run two tables and we had a total of 13 people coming, but due to school/sports events, it got truncated down to one really big table.
We had myself and 8 players show up, 1 of them new to the Stack, and 1 from the local community who saw my x-post offering the game.

I also put together a donation form, attached in Drive, with the Tiltify QR code on it. It got good reviews and a few bucks donated, feel free to share in other Stacks who do similar events. Checked with the store owner and they were on board with it too, toying with idea of leaving one on the counter for the entire month and they would keep a log of donations and what people choose, then those selections would be available for our players in our next games.

Washington D.C. - Downs Park, Maryland | June 6, 2026

The D.C. Stack is run by our Community Manager, Koin, and she's been ensuring her Stack is a high example for the other Stacks. They recently attended a local craft fair and informed locals about Stack Up and our mission.

Friends of Downs Park Family Community Day. It's basically a giant craft fair with other businesses from around the area. We set up a booth with coloring and offered mental health breaks to kids and adults that were attending the event. We also spoke with many people about who Stack Up is and what we do, as well as got a few new names for our volunteer roster. There was music and food trucks as well, so it was a fun time, despite the high temperatures!
Getting the idea for the table was a challenge, and then actually having all the pieces we needed. Thankfully the Stack came together and we were able to get all the tables and benches we needed.

Indianapolis Stack - Gen Con | July 30, 2026

The Indy Stack has kept it busy all year with regular game nights. As always, members of the Stack attended Gen Con, meeting up with members of other Stacks and those of our staff who made it out to the event.

The Indianapolis Stack participated in 4 days of North America's largest Table Top Gaming Convention - GenCon! With about 74,000 of our closest friends, the Indy stack got to meet up with the folks from HQ and various other stack members from other stacks around the midwest. We met a lot of new people and spread the word of what Stack Up does and stands for. We managed to also survive a tornado!

Our Stacks are growing! We're pretty excited about that. If you're interested in joining or starting a local Stack, hit this button below and learn more about our Stacks program.
