The Stacks – Memphis has their first event!

The Memphis Team was excited to have their first official event hosted at the Meddlesome Brewing Company. We weren’t sure what to do for our first event but realized there was an opportunity to begin an annual video game drive right after the holiday. The group at Meddlesome have been huge supporters of the military and were honored to have us there.
Meddlesome was awesome to let us have a big table and the whole corner right by the entrance so everyone could see us. Navis Pack & Ship, located here in Memphis, also donated a legit shipping crate to help with the visual aesthetic of our display (also made moving everything around SUPER easy).
Our Veteran Team Leader, affectionately known as Kowboy, camped out all day talking with patrons of the brewery, accepting donations on behalf of Stack-Up, and developing the interest in supporting veterans with the immense power of video gaming.
Any event where friends, family, and strangers show up to support a military charity can be considered a success. We were blown away by the donations made and the amount of business cards handed to us from parties wanting to be more involved in the effort of supporting our deserving veterans.
Also we want to give a big shout out to our supporter and friend Charles, who doesn’t even play video games, for going on a shopping spree and donating a bunch of brand new PS4 stuff!
