The Stacks – Stacking Up in DC!

This was our first event. 10 volunteers from John Potter’s unit volunteers to work the event Sunday evening so that we could set up a table on Saturday. We were there to inform as many people as possible about Stack Up and The Stacks as well as to let veterans know we are now in the local area for them.
We had a video at the table, but it was a little hard to hear. We handed out pamphlets, bracelets, and cards. We spent a lot of time talking to people and explaining what exactly it is that Stack Up does.
The event was to support the USO and the Capital Area Food Bank.
