It has been a week since the New Year started, and it's already looking a little rough from what we can tell about some of your social media responses. Well, we're going to bring some good news or at least a reminder that there is some good in the world. By supporting our mission, you're all contributors to the good that we can put into the world.
Back in November, we were approached by our board member and Trivium frontman Matt Heafy about getting a console to the Fort Campbell Warrior Zone. The Warrior Zone is part of Fort Campbell's plans to combat Military suicide. We were so excited about being a part of this opportunity that Steve had to go and hand-deliver a PS5 to our troops!
Some of our staff are a little jealous of the challenge coin that Steve received due to taking part in this event. Hopefully, some downtime gaming can help our soldiers by providing them with a place to hang out, make friends, and unwind.
This opportunity has opened more doors for us to provide more support in gaming and mental health to Active Duty service members across the U.S., which we will be announcing sometime soon! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation team for Army Forces Command reached out to Steve as well to see about getting further support to more military bases across the country. Looks like 2022 is going to be a busy year for us already!
