Army Veteran Ramon put in a request for a Supply Crate because he's been struggling with his mental health and would like to play sports games to help.
Retired 19D 1SG with PTSD, anxiety and depression. I am not a fan of war games like call of duty because of my PTSD. I play sports games as this soothes my mind when my anxiety begins to flare up. I would play games on my phone but the size of the screen only triggers migraines as I have to strain to see the screen. I am very limited on my social interaction due to not trusting anyone new in my circle. I feel this would benefit me as I can play with family members who live in different states.
Playing on a mobile phone is well and good, but Ramon is right, the smaller screen creates strain and frankly, some games should be played on a bigger one. Lots of games and consoles have also developed some accessibility options to help people who may have some visual issues that impact people's enjoyment of gaming.
Hello donors,
I want to thank you for your generosity. I really appreciate everything you do for us veterans. Your donation will not go to waste as I will use it when I am down and out. This is an outlet that I use when my anxiety is elevated or when I just need to decompress. Once again thank you very much.
Thanks, Ramon. Play ball!
