Marine Corps Veteran Mitchell reached out to Stack Up about getting a Supply Crate because gaming has always been a relief for him:

I am a 100% disabled Marine who served for 11 years, which included several combat deployments. I have always been an avid gamer but since having children, I have not had the opportunity to continue that passion. I know that gaming has been a stress reliever for me in the past and would love to be able to find that peace again. While deployed to Afghanistan my fellow Marines and I would always play the XBox together (usually HALO) and would spend endless hours escaping the reality of our situations. I know I would greatly benefit from a Supply Crate and I know it would make a world of difference in my life.

Stories like Mitchell's are why we are here. Game consoles can help a Veteran's mental health and we get that from our own experiences and growing research. We sent out a Nintendo Switch to him and we hope he'll enjoy plenty of gaming with it.

I wanted to send you a pic of me with my crate. This opportunity has made it possible for me to interact with my kids and help calm my stress, anxiety and depression. I know playing and staying engaged with them is definitely going to help me in so many ways. I know some of my military buddies are also playing games like Fortnite so I’ll get to reconnect with them too!
