Army Veteran Michael requested a Supply Crate to help him handle adjusting to life post Military.

My name is Michael, and I recently returned home after supporting Operation Inherent Resolve. During my time there, our main mission was to support my company in Syria via LOGPAC, which was a distance of 286KM one way. This entailed three days a week of travel with days in between to load for each LOGPAC. In addition, I was the POC for the “Material Handling contract” throughout the AO, maintaining and fixing any issues with the mission essential equipment. Despite the challenges and uncertainties, I successfully completed every mission with a 100 percent success rate. The days were long, and there were moments of uncertainty, especially thinking about my family at home. Leaving my wife and children was devastating, and I missed important milestones in their lives. However, I found support from fellow soldiers who were going through similar experiences. Now that I am home, I am adjusting to family life again. Sometimes, I struggle with feeling needed, but I am grateful for the time I can spend with my children and for the opportunity to get to know my son better. I have found solace in playing video games, as they provide me with a sense of calm and escape from negative feelings. Additionally, I have discovered a passion for streaming, which has been an uplifting and connecting experience for me. I believe that my experience in serving my country has been both challenging and rewarding. With 11 years left before I hit my twenty, I am committed and ready to face whatever comes my way. I am determined to prevail, no matter the obstacles.

Gaming is great for not only connecting with family, but making friends and enjoying some games with old battle buddies and making new ones among our fellow Veterans. Streaming allows our Veterans to be heard and connect with others who may have dealt with similar struggles. Newer consoles have the capability of streaming and with some applications make it possible to use streaming tools. We can help with the console part!

Michael didn't send an email reply, but let us know he got the console with a picture!
