Supply Crate – Michael

Army Veteran Michael requested a Supply Crate because he was injured during his service, and gaming has helped him immensely in coping with his PTSD.

I’m medically retired due to injuries I suffered in Iraq in 2008. I’m a former 11B, Purple Heart, and Combat Infantry Badge recipient. I was introduced to gaming in 2020 when covid hit and I’ve been in love ever since. I highly recommend playing games to all of my fellow veteran who suffer from PTSD. It had become a healthy source and I’ve formed health virtual relationships where I’m normally closed off.

Building community with other gamers in a healthy manner can do a lot for Veterans, especially when dealing with feelings of isolation. Gaming, when utilized well, can provide an avenue for our Veterans to build friendships and have fun together. Sounds like Michael needed an upgrade so we got him a new console.
