Supply Crate – Jackson

Not going to lie, this picture is one of our favorites that we've received.

Good morning. If you've dropped in to read yet another Supply Crate update, thank you for stopping to take a look, and you can skip to the next paragraph. If this is your first time and you have no idea what a Supply Crate update is, we'll explain. Here, we tell folks all about a Supply Crate we sent out to a recipient and received a reply from within the last 6 months. Why 6 months? Sometimes it takes that long to receive a response. (Lives get busy.) Other times, we receive so many replies for crates at once and can't get updates out fast enough.

How did they find such a great matching hat?

Today's update was received from Jackson, an Army Veteran's wife. She was the one to nominate him for a crate, as she told us in the below application note:

I’m writing this for my husband who would make a great candidate because he is one of the most selfless people in the world. He’s always the kind of person who one can depend on and helps others. Jackson, my husband, has spent eight years in the army, just getting out last November. He is the kind of guy who would give rides to his fellow soldiers and pay for meals if they couldn’t afford it because it was the right thing to do. Since getting out, he’s worked around the clock traveling east coast to west coast and back again to be able to provide the best life he can for us and our two children. Part of this is due to the medical bills for our son, Chase, who has autism. Video games are one of the ways Jackson and Chase have been able to bond. As Chase has started getting more verbal, he constantly asks to play games with his dad which doesn’t always happen because of the distance. Our little girl also has started to take a shine to video games because she gets the opportunity to sit in dads lap and play. Not only would the extra time spent with my husband make my kids overjoyed, I think it would be great for my husband to take a well deserved break from his day. When he travels, he often works 80+ hours a week and doesn’t flinch, only to come home and have our two kids want his attention 24/7.

Children can be quite the handful, but video games are a great distraction. If you're too tired to go to the park, they're perfect for sitting down on the couch and playing with the kids. Win-win.

Thank you so much for choosing Jackson!

Game on!

Thank you so much for choosing Stack Up and telling us all about him!

Karmakut sponsored Jackson's crate. Karmakut has sponsored quite a few crates, and for that, we are grateful!
