For this Supply Crate, we’re checking in with Luis, a disabled Army veteran who served in both Iran and Afghanistan and received a crate in December. Who reached out to us for help getting his gaming family together around a console.
We had an Xbox but we fell on some hard times so I had to sell. I can’t really afford to buy another one but it would be great to have one to play with my kids and wife. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Some people think gaming is a solitary hobby, but as Luis proves, it can be a family bonding experience. When times are hard, having a way to destress at home with your loved ones can not only bring your family closer but also fill our hearts.
We’re thankful to have the opportunity to bring joy to our veterans and their families during the holidays. We hope there are many hours of couch co-op in store for Luis and his family.
If you’d like to make a donation that gets sent over to our troops as a Supply Crate, Stack-Up takes lightly used PS4, and Xbox One games and gear as well as cash donations. Please help us help these vets out here:
