SUPPLY CRATE – HOLIDAY CHEER 7

We have another great Stack-Up Supply Crate to talk about! This time coming at us from Armando in the Army. He reached out to us looking to turn to gaming for a bit of R&R when him and his team have some down time. Read the full request below…

Our group was asked to recently deploy to Afghanistan. Like many units, we have been moved around throughout the Area of Operations.

We are currently in a small camp with no PX (Post Exchange) and limited amenities. We are tasked to provide 24/7, 365 a yr Medical evacuation for all US and coalition forces. Much like firefighters, there are many times that we patiently wait for the big call.

I would like to expand our activities by providing my group a console system and games at no cost to them. We are currently paying over $150/month for internet and would like for my Soldiers to save money this deployment and not spend it.

Within the first 30 days, our unit took a casualty. Thankfully, he is on his way to recovering and has made it back to the US. Playing video games will give my guys a way to decompress.

We knew we could help Armando and make sure there was enough gaming goodness to go around for the whole squad. We quickly went to work packing up a Supply Crate loaded with the latest games and a few extra geek goodies just to be sure.

We then sent it downrange and waited for the response. When Armando and his team received everything they sent us back a great picture with their new gear!

Stack Up,

We received our Stack up package! It arrived at the best time right before Christmas!! The group is ecstatic and we have started using the PS4.

Attached is the picture of my team grateful of the gifts we received from Stack Up!

Thanks to your Armando for reaching out and everything you and your group do to help your fellow service members. We hope the games provide some much-needed relaxation during your downtime.

If you’d like to make a donation that gets sent over to our troops as a Supply Crate, Stack-Up takes lightly used PS4, and Xbox One games and gear as well as cash donations. Please help us help these vets out here:
