Supply Crate – Dionicio

Dionicio is currently a reservist who also served on Active Duty in the Army and requested a Supply Crate because he wanted a new console and games to de-stress while deployed again.

Served 8 years active deployed to Afghanistan twice conducting route clearance operations. Left active duty to spend more time with my family but didn’t want to get out completely so I ended up signing up for the reserves. So I’m currently serving as a part time soldier ended up deploying again to Syria/iraq again making this my 3rd. My buddy told me about this program and how y’all help vets like me get my mind off of things. I figured nothing will come of this but I figure I’ll shoot my shot. I have a family of gamers and this is the best way we bond. During the low times video games is a sure fire way to ease the invisible fires i guess my magic man. I truly appreciate your mission.

We know how well gaming can help take the mind off of things from our own experiences. Many of our staff were once Active Duty service members who played video games to pass the time and unwind after long days of work and while deployed overseas. Though back then, we didn't have online gaming the way we do now.

Hopefully a new PlayStation 5 will keep Dionicio's morale up and allow him to strengthen his bonds with family.

Thanks for the crate! My kid and I greatly appreciate it! To some it might not seem like a big deal but for me video games just help us forget some of the noise that gets too loud sometimes, I'm thankful for you and your team and the sponsors that make this amazing thing happen!
