Supply Crate – Danny

Army Veteran Danny reached out about receiving a Supply Crate because he heard about Stack Up from some battle buddies during his service, and after getting out of the Military, he decided to submit his application after giving his consoles away to family.

I heard about stack up by two battle buddies on how great a program it is from service members. I wanted to register during my deployment but felt like I wasn't worthy of applying to I pushed it off. After recently leaving the service My battle buddy highly recommend me to apply once more. I feel like it would help me alot being around a community that looks out for one another inside and outside the service. Gaming is something I always loved and love playing with people new or currently. Prior to my deployment i gave my Xbox and switch to my siblings so they have just as fun as I did. Its great knowing that something like this exist that looks out for service members and assists anyway they can.

We appreciate those service members who are just as generous and selfless as our mission. Giving away consoles to family because you know they'll have fun can be well worth doing. However, that has left Danny without a console of his own, and we can fix that with a new console.

Served nine years in the army with two deployments and multiple activations. In my time serving a friend of mine had noticed my mental and physical health at a decline and was only getting worse. Not only on the military side but in the civilian life as well. He had not only looked out for me but had referred me to stack up and explained what to do for troops. He highly encouraged me to reach out to connect with others who understand the struggle with mental health. i pushed it off for a long time thinking my health wasnt that important and was not something to seek help for. I just wanted to thank stack up for what they do and for this opportunity.
