Supply Crate – Anthony

Anthony is an Army Veteran who requested a Supply Crate, as video games have long been his sanctuary, and he wanted a Nintendo Switch so he could game with his sons.

As a veteran with PTSD, gaming has been my sanctuary. The quiet of my apartment, the digital worlds I explore, and the camaraderie with other gamers have provided a lifeline. But it's not just about solo adventures. My two sons grew up watching and playing with me. Now that they are older, I miss those shared experiences and that bond. As they both have a Nintendo Switch, it would be amazing to receive a Switch so we can continue our gaming adventure on the same platform. I'm incredibly grateful for the positive impact gaming has had on our family. It's more than just entertainment; it's a way for us to connect, to grow, and to find joy together.
