It's time to sharpen your cyber katana and prepare for a lot of futuristic ninja action 505 Games and All In! have announced a release date for Ghostrunner the cyberpunk ninja action game that puts a katana in your inhuman hands and has you slice and dice for freedom. Ghostrunner cuts its way onto store shelves this coming October 27th, and registration ofr the beta is now open.
The news comes from PAX Online, along with a new trailer, showcasing the plot and announcing the release date. the trailer showcases a newer, fresher build of Ghostrunner. The trailer showcases a plethora of wildly energetic action, from parkour to hack 'n' slash energy to extreme termination of enemy foes, all the while ascending a dark, mysterious tower free the minds of the enslaved.
I played Ghostrunner at PAX EAST this past March and found it to be immensely enjoyable. While it will undoubtedly struggle with the bigger Cyberpunk 2077 coming to store shelves this November, I strongly encourage players to check out Ghostrunner as it is an entirely different game with a very different degree of sublime gaming mechanics.
Ghostrunner launches on October 27th, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
