Our Call to Arms X PC send out totaled 10 PCs sent to 10 Veterans and Active Duty Military around the US. We're now updating about our 9th send out so that means just 1 more to tell you about. We're glad we could help these folks get a gaming setup they can also use for other activities requiring a PC.

Today we bring you this update about Abigail, who served in the Army National Guard. You can read or listen to her request as shared by Hyf1re during our Call to Arms X LIVE event below:

I have just over 15 years of service, starring as a 27D paralegal specialist, with a deployment to Afghanistan, transitioning to a 12N horizontal engineer, and last 10 years as a 42A human resources NCO. I am a member of the Maine Army National Guard, currently Active Guard Reserve status and working in our state headquarters as the Enlisted Personnel Manager in the G1. I would never be so disingenuous as to claim to be more than just a POG, but I have put in time away from my husband and special needs son throughout my 15 year career. As I near retirement, I would like to start building bonds with both of them again, and one of those ways is through gaming. Something both of them enjoy.

Having a PC to do some gaming on with family is a great way to tighten those bonds after serving in the Military. Especially if you need lots of accessibility options. We're hoping by sending this PC out to Abigail, she'll get plenty of use out of it in her retirement.

Thank you StackUp!
This Gaming Setup will allow me to reestablish bonds that have been strained by a high OPTEMPO and demanding career.
I have a lot of anxiety and physical injuries that have limited my ability to do many of the more active things I used to enjoy.
I am looking forward to finding games to play with my son and spouse. And hopefully join the community of gamers and expand my social circle and improve my mental health as well as my relationships within my family.

We hope you enjoy the PC, Abigail!
