What an amazing time in San Diego!
As you may know through our Air Assault program we strive to offer Veterans an amazing once in a lifetime experience. Through our wonderful partnerships in the games industry, we often succeed in arranging special appearances or access to unique opportunities.
When the chance to attend Comic Con in San Diego came about, we knew we were a bit out of our usual element but went to work finding two amazing Veterans who would relish the chance to visit the “Big One” of comic conventions.
Justin and Tyler, two Marine Veterans who served together, proved to be the perfect pairing for this trip, and to say they were excited to attend would be an understatement. If you want to learn a bit more about these Veterans take a look at our pre-event write up located HERE!
In the weeks leading up to the convention, we did our research and had the Air Assaults pick out panels they would like to attend, but were still unsure what to expect. However, thanks to our friends at Six Foot we were able to offer our Air Assaults a truly V.I.P. experience at the convention. From star studded after parties, to meeting some of the biggest names of geekdom in person on the show floor, these Veterans certainly had an amazing time!
