During our Call to Arms X LIVE event our 10th birthday guests used 10 PCs to game and fundraise on. It was a fantastic day of celebrating 10 years of Stack Up with a special gift in mind. That gift? Giving away those 10 PCs used during the event to 10 Veterans and Active Military servicemembers.

Christopher is one of the Veterans who was selected to receive a PC from us. He told us his story in his request and we just knew we had to get him a new PC. You can read or listen to his story as read by PacificCreative who tested his PC during our Call to Arms LIVE event.

Joined the reserves in 1984, went full time the next year, planned on making it a career, Fell off a cliff in 1986 and was medically retired in 1988, Started all over and then again in 1996 when I caught on fire, I tend to put my computer last after the family and I'm not on a terrible machine but my 2080 is feeling overworked at time.

Falling off a cliff is intense and a hell of a reason to eventually get medically retired. Christopher has been through quite a lot and we're glad he's still with us today. Getting him a new PC is the least we can do to keep him up and gaming and whatever else he decides to use it for.

After many years supporting Stackup as a fundraiser, it feels kind of weird receiving a Vetrofit but I haven't really focused on my equipment in several years and it was getting a bit outdated, with a current plan to start generating more social content, this is greatly needed and appreciated.

What better way to thank you for the support than a PC? Thanks, Christopher. We're glad we could help and we appreciate anything you may want to do to give back and help other Veterans.
