The folks over at VFW Post 12190, located in Georgia, requested a Supply Crate so they could increase their gaming outreach. They have a resident streamer and a U.S. Navy Veteran who has been working to expand their gaming programs.
VFW Post 12190 is looking to level up our gaming outreach, and we need your help! We’re reaching out to @StackUpDotOrg to request a Supply Crate for our post and our resident streamer, @GremmieGhost (Scott Killebrew).------Scott is a 100% disabled U.S. Navy veteran, House Chair of VFW Post 12190, and a member of Combat Tested Gaming. He’s working hard to bring in-person strategy games, tabletop RPGs, and streamed gaming events to our VFW community. With a gaming rig or support from Stack Up, we can grow veteran engagement, provide mental health outlets, and build a thriving gaming community within the VFW Department of Georgia.------Plus, Scott is set to become Georgia’s first-ever VFW State Gaming Chair! This means he’ll be working across the state to expand gaming opportunities for veterans, from competitive online play to local game nights.------Stack Up’s mission aligns perfectly with what we’re building at VFW Post 12190. Let’s make it happen!
It's been great to watch other organizations embrace gaming as a way of reaching younger and younger Veterans. We've supported other VFW posts in their efforts in the past and are more than happy to continue that help.
