Supply Crate – Matthew

Matthew served in the Navy and requested a Supply Crate because he's become isolated after his service and he wanted a console to help with dealing with that.

Besides work I have almost become a shut in don’t really go out anymore have no drive to go out. The most I do is take a few day trips on my jeep

Isolation often happens for Veterans because going out can feel like too much. As a result, a lot struggle with making new friends, being able to take their minds off of things, and do activities that are enriching. Through gaming, Veterans like Matthew can play games alone or online, taking their mind off their struggles. Some games can help by offering an escape. Others, such as online multiplayers can help connect them with other people who enjoy gaming or who can relate.

We hope by sending Matthew this console, he will find some friends and enjoy himself.
