Supply Crate – Katina

Air Force Veteran Katina reached out about receiving a Supply Crate so she could enjoy some gaming for anxiety management and bonding with her son.

As a proud veteran with 25 years of service in the Air Force, I carry the honor of my commitment to our nation, along with the unique challenges that come with a 100% disability. My journey has taught me the profound importance of resilience, gratitude, and the power of community support. Through my experiences, I've learned that mental stability is not just a personal quest, but a collective effort that can be nurtured by uplifting one another. I am blessed to have served and to have emerged from that chapter of my life with a renewed sense of purpose. My mission now is to support fellow veterans, to share the message that healing is possible, and that happiness can be found even in the face of adversity. I believe that by fostering connections within our veteran community, we can create a network of hope and strength. Together, we can remind each other of our worth and the invaluable contributions we’ve made. With every day, I embrace the lessons of my past and look forward to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Gaming has always been more than just entertainment for me—it’s a way to manage my anxiety and decompress. It also gives me something meaningful to share with my son. After serving 25 years in the United States Air Force, there were moments and time I wasn’t able to give him, and this allows me to reconnect and create new memories together.

Knowing there are organizations like Stack Up that genuinely support veterans and active duty service members, especially when it comes to mental health and well-being, means more than I can fully put into words. Your kindness and generosity have made a real impact on my life and my family.
