Army Veteran Justin requested a Supply Crate so he could get a game console to play Fortnite with his children as a family.

Hi. So a little about myself, my name is Justin, I have served for 20 years. Moved to Washington after active duty was over, where my wife is from. Working at the Puget Sound Navy Shipyard as a 100% disabled veteran, Pipefitter so still helping support our military mission. Moving to Washington has been rough, I don't have many friends here and I'm thousands of miles away from my family in Texas and I've been a bit lonely, as when i was active duty i used to have friends and Soldiers galore at my house for barbeques, holidays, and sports events, I miss those times. Recently my father in law who was an army Veteran was diagnosed with kidney cancer barely a year after retiring from the place I now work. 4 weeks ago he passed from his cancer, we spent all of our time assisting him and my mother in law and it really stretched us thin financially and physically as a family. I have a wife an 2 children. I'm just looking for a way to help get us closer again as we pick up the pieces and try to mend our hearts after my father in laws passing. We've always loved gaming as a family in the past. But as my kids got older I passed on my consoles to them and would love to now join in and game with them playing fortnite and whatever they want to play. Oh and I broke my toe last night letting our dogs in on my door frame, bad luck I guess. My wife hasn't gotten a paycheck in the last 2 months as her admin messed up her FMLA leave for care of her father. So we're a little strapped for cash right now. Thanks for your consideration, God Bless.

Strapped for cash? That's where we come in! We work with fundraisers to help sponsor Supply Crates like Justin's so that he can get a console and game without the worry of the extra expense. We sent Justin a PlayStation 5 and he sent us a reply in return.

Hello Stack Up!
I received my Crate today and it was amazing! I have enjoyed playing so video games with the kiddos, whom were home sick from school today!
I have joined Discord and gotten some of my Veteran friends involved, in spreading the word of Stack Up on their Twitch streams. I signed up to also be a Lead here in Washington state.
This truly is gonna help me and the kids and friends bond more, especially during the cold dark months. I plan to be as involved as my schedule will allow with Stack Up. Thank you so much to DjinnJee for the Crate, the volunteers at Stack Up and Stack Up as a whole.
You all are doing great great things for our community. Anyone that might read this outside the organization, follow Stack Up on Discord, Facebook, and Twitch. Stack Up Discord offers so much more helpful topics for Veterans as well.
God Bless and Thank You
Justin

That's pretty awesome, Justin. Thank you for reaching out to us and for giving back some support!

DjinnJee sponsored Justin's Supply Crate. DjinnJee does a mix of video and tabletop gaming! He's also a Marine Corps Veteran so he understand just how much gaming can impact our Veterans. Check out his channel on Twitch: Twitch.tv/djinnjee
