Army Veteran Jed requested a Supply Crate so he could game to relieve his stress and anxiety while living with Wilson's disease.
I served 12 years in the army deployed twice before I was diagnosed with Wilsons disease and got medically chapter my symptoms have gotten worse I just something to take the stress and anxiety away I'm soon to get a transplant I get anxiety nervous break downs I can no long work because of my condition this would really help me just relax and take my mind off everything. Thank you for hearing my story

Struggling with a genetic disorder is a tough ordeal, especially when it puts so much stress on a person's body. In Jed's case, he's going to be dealing with a lot of treatments to mitigate his symptoms, likely for most, if not all, of his life. With a game console, he can take his mind off things and be somewhere else. It's an escape we're happy to provide.
Jed did not send a written reply, but got back to us with a photo and we're glad we can help him out in some small way.

Edplacencia sponsored Jed's Supply Crate. Edplacencia has sponsored multiple Supply Crates over his time fundraising with us! If you hit the tag with his name below, you can read about other sponsorships he's had. We thank him and his community for helping us get another gaming care package to another Veteran.
