Navy Veteran Jarrett requested a Supply Crate so he could game with other people and try to get himself out of a depression.

I’m very lonely and don’t get out much. I have a hard time in social setting and when I feel a bit better I like to game. I don’t have online services so I can only game offline, or if there is a free option like FortNite that allows me to interact with other people which I enjoy. I used to be really into gaming but I find myself losing more interest in the things I enjoy. My mental health case worker told me to check out this organization to see if it could help. I’d be grateful for any help and would eventually like to get more connected to the gaming world possibly even a cool job? I think that would give value to my life and lift my spirits. Not sure if that’s possible but I’m willing to learn more and help out. Thanks

While we can't offer any jobs, we have some consoles and a community of gamers and volunteers in the Stack Up Discord who play games together and just hang out from the comfort of their homes. It's free for anyone to join and we do our best to keep the community safe while offering support to Veterans, Active Military and supportive civilians alike.

I am very grateful to stack up and CaptianErock for donating an awesome gaming system.

Thanks Jarrett! We hope to see you in some Fortnite soon enough.

CaptainErock sponsored Jarrett's Supply Crate. He fundraised with his community to make this gaming care package and we couldn't be more grateful for all of our supporters. He's recently played No Man's Sky so if you like the game or have never seen it in action, you can check out his stream on Twitch.

This is it! Our 10th year in operation. Want to help Stack Up make this a big year of supporting Veterans through the power of gaming? Hit the button below to sign up to fundraise with us.
