Supply Crate – James

Writer: Stack UpStack Up

James served in the Marines and requested a Supply Crate to give his mind something to do other than dwelling on stresses.

Hello, my name is James, I've enjoyed video games ever since I discovered my dad had a NES playing Mario Bros. I joined the U.S. Marine Corps right out high school for 4 years as a radio operator in 2nd Battalion, 4th Division, The Magnificent Bastards under SgtMaj Ellis, Joseph, J. EAS'd Joined the Army 3 months later for another 7 years as a tanker in 1/66 Armored Division and MP in Korea. Upon the time of ETSing from the Army, I discovered my wife, whom I had been married to for the past 8 years was pregnant with my firstborn son. After getting out, down the road, long story short, I ended up having 2 more boys and snipping it to ensure no more.. I now spend my days fighting my mind in the house against the world outside as a stay at home dad learning new things, building things, and trying to learn how to best be a father for my boys and husband for my wife day by day. The boys are now 8, 5, and 10 months. The older two have Halloween and early Nov birthdays.

That's quite a well-sized family. We're sure that James could use some gaming for some "me" time as well as use it as a means of spending time with his boys.

I included my boys in the picture. I hope that is ok. Thank you very much for this. My eldest believed to the utmost that the PlayStation was going to be stationed in his room!

We hope you and the boys enjoy the new console, James.

I completely understand what James is going through. Adjusting to civilian life after leaving the military is not easy. Having fun with family, like playing Baseball Bros Game with kids,, can help relieve stress. I hope he continues to find positive things like this to keep his spirits up.
