It is time that we check in with another of our Hundred Heroes Supply Crate recipients!
This one comes to us from Chris who is in the Army. Keep reading to check out the full request below:
I served from 2000-2006 as a Blackhawk helicopter crew chief. Participated in the hurricane Katrina rescues, where I hurt my back, as well as hurricane Rita a few weeks later.
Dealing with the ongoing back issues as well as divorce and job loss recently this package would be an amazing gift in what will otherwise be a lonely Christmas.
We were all too happy to mark Chris down for one of our Hundred Heroes Supply Crates! When he received the crate he sent back some words of thanks along with a pretty cool pic of him with all the gear!
I can’t thank you guys enough! What was a holiday season I wasn’t really looking forward to has turned into the best one I’ve had in a very long time.
Thank you guys again for doing this and I will be helping get the word out about it more next year if you have another one. A lot of the vets in my therapy group would love to enter and get involved if at all possible to help with the 2019 supply crates.
Thank you, Chris, we are glad that the Supply Crate brought some joy to you this holiday season and by all means spread the word for next year!
We also want to say a special thank you to Lady Aderissa and her community for answering the Call to Arms and helping out with this Supply Crate!
If you’d like to make a donation that gets sent over to our troops as a Supply Crate, Stack-Up takes lightly used PS4, and Xbox One games and gear as well as cash donations. Please help us help these vets out here:
