Gena is an Army Veteran who was diagnosed with cancer. She requested a Supply Crate so that she could get a console to give them both something they could enjoy.

I'm a OIF II veteran. My husband and I met and bonded over our shared love of gaming. Going strong for three years now we've faced incredible hurdles including my recent full hysterectomy for cervical cancer. He's been my rock through recovery and never hesitates to sacrifice including forgoing upgrading his aging console to ensure our finances stay stable while I continue to be out of work. This would provide not only much needed therapy for me but a chance for to tell him thank you for being the best spouse I could have ever asked for.

While we obviously can't fix cancer, we can offer up a gaming care package to help Gena have something fun to do and take her mind off of things and enjoy something with her husband.

Y'all absolutely blew any expectations out of the water. This crate was above and beyond. The stress relief, time occupying as I navigate this next year of medical challenges (now facing some new not so great news thanks sandbox toxins lol) and accepting an early retirement of sorts, and just joy is priceless. My husband and I say couples that game together stay together and y'all have contributed to a long and happy marriage Huge shout out to DJSoundstorm and everyone at StackUp and everyone who fundraises and donates.

This second pic is my little corner of joy in our room for the days when getting up and about is too tall of an order.

We're sorry to hear about more medical challenges for you, Gena, but we hope this PS5 can offer you many days of comfort and that you get the care you need.
