Supply Crate – Dustin

Air Force Veteran Dustin requested a Supply Crate so he could enjoy some gaming with his stepson.

I am a disabled Air Force veteran that served from 1999 to 2004, deployed to PSAB after 9/11 in Operation Southern Watch doing my part. Through 2 burn it to the ground divorces in abusive relationships (7 years and 4 years) and struggling to find my way for years I have finally found a healthy relationship that is about recovery and support, caring and love. Building our lives together and not tearing each other down. My anxiety disorder was the exploited weakness for so many years in relationships and work and now through my family I get help to overcome and trust. My wife had a son from a previous marriage and he is 14. Of course he loves video games and I would love to be able to share that with him as well as my wife and his friend. They give me so much love and we try to spend time together. I feel this would connect us on another level and I could be the even cooler dad. Thank you for your consideration.

I received it this weekend. Thank you so much for this. I spent time setting up everything and have been learning it as I go. I have reached out to some veteran friends to connect with them in their favorite games. It is nice to know that I can interact with my friends and family over distances. My son and I shared a couple matches of his favorite first person shooter and I am realizing that my reaction skills need some practice. I feel so lucky to have an organization such as Stack Up to reconnect me with people I have missed for so long. Thank you!
