Supply Crate – Andrew

Andrew was Active Duty in the Marines and is now in the reserves. He requested a Supply Crate so he could put a console and games in the Veterans lounge at UConn Law.

Hi my name in Andrew McCotter. I was active duty in the Marine Corps and now I am in the reserves. I am currently attending UConn Law where I am president of VALOR (Veterans & Armed Services Legal Outreach Society). I am hoping to get a supply crate for the veterans lounge at UConn law. To be honest when I first got here it was pretty dilapidated and no one really visited it. I have put in a lot of work cleaning it up, and got the school to get some new furniture. I am hoping you all will help make it an awesome space! There are at minimum of 26 vets on campus that would use it, not to mention it would be a great place for VALOR to plan events for the whole schools population. Thanks for everything you do!

Sounds like Andrew has put in a bit of work to spruce up the Veterans lounge at his school and could use something a little more to draw people in. A game console and games will allow these Veterans pursuing higher education to relax and game together, something we're all about supporting.

We sent Andrew a PlayStation 5 and he sent us a photo to let us know he received the gaming care package.
