Phasmophobia. It doesn't normally scare me, but one time I was playing at a friend's house, in the dark, while dog sitting. Just as a ghost spawns on top of me in-game, the dog put his cold nose on the back of my bare arm. I screamed. Then I laughed.
What is your favorite Halloween candy?
I'm one of Those People. I like candy corn.
What is your favorite part of Halloween?
Dressing up. Sometimes I'll wear a different costume every day leading up to Halloween.
What would be the perfect Halloween costume if you could have it right now?
If I could have someone do the makeup, I love that undead gray veiny look with some cool contacts.

I love to play some Phasmophobia and Dead by Daylight. And I've also played some Friday the 13th when it just came out.
If you have played Horror games, what is one you played recently? Did it scare you?
I played Phasmophobia most recently and had some good jump scares now and then.

No clue what that means. Halloween isn't that big here in the Netherlands.

The part of coming together and watching/playing scary stuff together is my favorite part of Halloween.

Nope! Horror movies don't scare me, but Horror games have that interactive component that makes them 10x scarier.
If you have played Horror games, what is one you played recently? Did it scare you?
I played Control, and that's about as scary as I'm willing to get. The game has a creepy tone to it that is very well done.
What is your favorite Halloween candy?
Chocolate. All the chocolate candies.
What is your favorite part of Halloween?
Seeing people get dressed up, the candy, the decorations. It's the time of year where the horrible and the weird are celebrated. It's just a fun holiday in general.
What would be the perfect Halloween costume if you could have it right now?
I have been Thor in the past, but I would like to be Loki someday.

Rarely, I'm really not a fan of horror movies, especially if they don't end with the "good guys" getting away and such. (Looking at you Hostel!) So that extends into video games as well, but less because the character doesn't wind up surviving, but because I know I won't finish it in one sitting, and I'll have to go to sleep with that being stuck in the middle of a horror movie vibe in my brain, and I don't like that.
If you have played Horror games, what is one you played recently? Did it scare you?
Recently is a relative term. Dead Space is the last one that comes to mind, but I know I've had something since then. I'd say it definitely nailed the jump scares. That opening scene in, I believe it's Dead Space 2 when you're just waking up and getting used to the controls has some absolutely intense cut scenes.

What is your favorite part of Halloween?
I like giving the candy to trick or treaters. Depending on where I live, I'll either link up with a church doing Trunk or Treat, or if the whole street is doing door to door, I'll do that. It's fun giving kids more candy than they think they should be allowed to take. I also enjoy seeing the families in coordinated costumes and trying to guess what all the kids dressed up as if I haven't seen the characters before.
What would be the perfect Halloween costume if you could have it right now?
I have a desire to dress up as Hagrid from Harry Potter, and get a lantern, and stand on my porch and wave my lantern at trick or treaters and yell, "First Years over here!" Don't judge me. Complete with pink umbrella if I could find one. Maybe some platform boots or something so I can be even taller.

My favorite candy is actually Twizzlers. Very close 2nd is M&Ms.

I really like the costumes. When you get older, you can buy candy whenever you want so that aspect doesn't hit as hard.

Easily a replica Christian Bale Batman suit. I WILL own a badass one before I leave Earth.

Not *all* scary per se, but my favorite Halloween-time movies are: 1408, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Hocus Pocus.

Sometimes… but usually only with other people. Even then, I prefer paranormal horror games like Fatal Frame and Phasmophobia.

Phasmophobia was my most recent… but even that has been about a year ago now… as in last Halloween.
