Went to one of those farms with the petting zoo that had a corn maze. They had a very scary set of folks in costumes. It was a blast. 1 had a fake chainsaw that chased kids out of the maze and if you were cornered you they would “capture you” and you would play dead and if someone strolled by and came close enough to you, you would scare them.

Do you decorate for Halloween? What do you usually put up?
Not really. I live in a neighborhood where I'm the youngest person on the street so we don't get trick or treaters. We do put up fall like decorations in the house, but nothing specifically halloween.

I have done a corn maze recently and haunted houses as a kid and younger adult. I did the corn maze somewhere in Missouri and they had cut the corn into the shape of a football and I think the Kansas City Chiefs logo the year they won the superbowl. That was pretty cool. They gave us an overhead map of the maze and had 10 different waypoints we needed to find inside it to submit for a prize. As for haunted houses, they've always been far too scary. I am honestly surprised the actors don't get punched in the face more often. Jump scares ignite that fight or flight response and I think they really hope you go for flight, but I do wonder how often they've had someone just go straight to fight and punch someone or a prop that jumps out and is within striking distance lol.

I haven't ever really had too many elaborate costumes. I had some cool ones as a kid. I have a distinct memory of wearing my blue power ranger costume around the house all the time even when it wasn't Halloween so that's probably the one that I would say is my "most liked" since I can remember it. I still want to wear that Hagrid one I mentioned wanting to get last year so I can stand on my front porch with a lantern hollering for kids to come to follow me like I was beckoning First Years. I probably still have that picture. If I can find it I'll add it as my attachment.

My family has been building up and hoarding Halloween decorations for years so we decorate both inside and outside of the house. One day we're going to go all out.

I went to a Mummy themed haunted house when I was a teenager. Everyone made me go first and hid behind me the whole time because I didn't get scared at all. I want to do a corn or hay bale maze someday.

I was Thor for Halloween after I was in the Navy. It was so much fun. Still one of my favorite costumes to this day. I would really like to do a spin on a Loki costume sometime.
