For this year’s TheGameCon, Stack-Up had the opportunity to have a presence there and the Houston Stack answered the call. Sporting our Stack-Up red t-shirts, the Houston Stack came out in full force. We had a toss game (similar to cornhole) and a spinning trivia game with different categories, such as Harry Potter, Gaming, and movies for the guests to participate in. As a result, the response from the Galveston and surrounding communities was amazing! The Houston Stack signed up several potential new members and collected almost $300 in cash donations. The Stack-Up booth was one of the busiest spots at the Gamecon.
Grand prizes were also given away on Saturday and Sunday. Participants of the Stack-Up toss game with highest scores won headsets and game controllers. Overall, TheGameCon proved to be a very successful event for the Houston Stack-Up team, the Stack-Up organization, and the Houston community.
