Don’t Know What to do With Your Kids? Here’s a Few Things to Try Out!



Do you have a little one with lots of energy but no way to let them exert it? Are you finding it hard to be responsible for their learning? Don’t worry, you’re in the majority. While the stay at home order is still effective in most states, a lot of us are finding ourselves in a position where we don’t know what to do to take more control in our children’s health and education. This can be daunting task for a lot of parents out there. At Stack Up, we aim to try and keep everyone happy, healthy, and equipped with the right tools to get you through these tough times. This article will supply you with some options when you don’t know what to do to help you manage your kidos and make sure they get the education and exercise they need.

If you haven’t heard of GoNoodle yet, then quickly watch that video above and learn about the awesome services they have! GoNoodle is a media company that produces videos for kids to change screen time to active time. Their videos will get your kids off the couch and on their feet dancing and exercising right before your eyes.

The fun videos that GoNoodle creates are an awesome way to get your kids engaged in physical activity during the stay at home order. All you need is a screen and an open area for your kidos to wiggle and jiggle to the fun songs. The best part is that GoNoodle is completely free. GoNoodle also added games to their content. You can get the games by downloading the app from the Apple Store.

Using GoNoodle will help you by giving your children something to do when they are hyper and need an outlet for their energy. Speaking of energy, GoNoodle has an email program that parents can sign up for during the lockdown that sends resources like physical activity videos, curricular activities, as well as off-screen home activities right to their inboxes. Be warned though, the songs are catchy as hell and will get stuck in your head.

Leapfrog is the leading force in innovative learning technology, and the Leapfrog Academy is a shining example of that. If too help your children develop school and life skills then this is the perfect tool for you as a parent. There are thousands of interactive games and activities that will keep those little ones happy, engaged, and educated.

All you need to be able to access Leapfrog Academy is a tablet, phone, or PC that has the software downloaded. Once you have the software downloaded, you can access the app any time you need it because WiFi is not required.

Whether you want to try it out for a couple of months while we ride this stay at home order out, or you go all in, your children are sure to thank you for the fun. Leapfrog Academy is practically a World of Warcraft for learning after all.


PBS Kids Available for all Browsers


PBS Kids is an amazing resource that parents can use for so many things whether its just to entertain them for a bit, or educate them about feelings or the environment. PBS Kids also has many games that your children can play that are educational.

One of the things that might interest you the most is that PBS Kids has a section on their You Tube page that is dedicated to Coronavirus and how to help them develop healthy habits. This is extremely helpful in these delicate times to make sure that our children stay safe and healthy.
