Air Assault – SQUAD Up in Vancouver for some Mo-Cap Fun!

Air Assault program ventured north of the 49th Parallel to see the developers of SQUAD in Vancouver Canada! We looked far and wide and identified two amazing Veterans who are also big-time SQUAD fans to visit the developers for a round of motion capture fun!

The mission was extra special as it featured several firsts for our Air Assault program. Not only was this our first mission out of the US it was also the first to feature an Allied Veteran, a member of the Australian Defense Force, to join us as well! You can read more about how this was all set up and the amazing Veterans involved by visiting our pre-event write-up HERE.

After you are all caught up, we invite you to sit back and give a watch to the video below to see these Veterans in action and a special Uniform Swap between these allied troopers!

Thanks to these amazing Veterans for sharing that special moment with us and of course their sweet mo-cap skills. We also want to thank our allies at SQUAD and of course the folks at Animatrik for helping to make this event a huge success.

We want to leave you with a quote from one of the Veterans who attended this trip, William Bee,

“Thanks so much for the opportunity to do this! The passion you guys have for Veterans, coupled with the amazing developers and their love for both their product and their drive for realism made this trip one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve ever had!”

We couldn’t be more thrilled that you had a great time!
